Challenge:
This Healthcare client was struggling to provide access to wellness information and reports to patients and healthcare providers in an easy and consistent manner. Reports were delivered via an email link to patients that then had to be printed out and reviewed with the physician, which led to delays in the review process. This client needed a secure and mobile way for patients to initiate and fill out the required information and then access it through a mobile device.
Solution Overview
Messina Group built a mobile app using Microsoft .NET that allowed review and access to the patients’ wellness reports. Patients and physicians were able to review wellness reports via mobile devices in real-time. Messina’s creative team worked with the client to design the user experience. Additionally, SharePoint was leveraged as a secure document repository for patients’ wellness history and was HIPPA compliant.
