Saddled with an antiquated, on-premise ERP, our client was plagued by a lack of visibility, efficiency, and integration. Manual, error-prone processes led to missed opportunities in client acquisition, cost optimization, and inventory management. Our client needed a trusted advisor to help them navigate a mission-critical ERP selection process that would shape their future through digital transformation.
Messina partnered with the client and interviewed key business and technical stakeholders to develop the business-led selection criteria and business case for the ERP platform. Once the selection criteria and ROI were defined, the Messina team led a rigorous selection process to select the best-fit platform, terms, and conditions for the client’s needs.

Messina helped this client build the business case for the program, identifying over $12M in projected ROI through better raw material management, margin increases, waste reduction, and inventory management.
The ROI drivers were then used to prioritize the selection criteria for the Future State ERP platform, culminating in a selection of SAP S/4HANA after an in-depth selection process.
The Messina team also helped the client negotiate favorable terms with the vendor across licensing, hosting, and clauses, in addition to assisting with the financial accounting methodology within the TCO analysis.
